The eero 6 can cover an area of up to 140m2. However, this range is largely dependent on several external factors such as:
- Your home’s building construction (older with thick walls, or new builds with foil-insulation)
- Where you place your eero router (out in the open is better than behind the TV)
- The layout of your home
- WiFi interference from neighbouring devices
If you need eero extenders in your home due to the above factors, the added eeros should be at most 50ft apart from one another. This is the sweet spot that ensures they can provide a signal overlap and keep all your devices connected to the strongest signal-emitting eero at all times.
If you need additional help with this, the eero app will take you through the best placement instructions to ensure you are getting the most out of your at-home personalised system.
