Not playing ball?
The eero set up process is designed to be straightforward with the mobile app step-by-step instructions, but little hiccups can still occur.
If something is stopping you in your tracks during set up, we've got a few suggestions below.
Check that Bluetooth is on
The eero app uses it to pair your phone with the router you’re setting up.
Use the router serial number
The app gives you the option to set up using a serial number which can be found on the sticker at the bottom of the router (look at the barcode with the letters 'SN' on it).
Don't forget to include the dashes!
Try a different phone
The one you're using might be having issues if it's not using the most up-to-date software.
Restart the router
Unplug and re-plug it.
Wait for your eero to reboot after reconnecting to power (around 2 minutes).
The eero will be ready to start again once the LED is solid white.
