Connecting to an infrastructure network
Your home will need to be connected to one of our infrastructure partners before you can enjoy Brillband. Installations are carried out by our partner's engineering team, they'll complete all the necessary work with minimal disruption to your day and no mess.Â
Unsure if you have a partner connection or not?

Â
Â
A stitch in time saves nine
The engineers like to get things done properly and thoroughly.
Installations usually take a couple of hours but it can take longer if any obstacles are found.
We're all determined to get you connected as quickly as possible on the day.
Â
Â
Confirming the location
The engineers will advise you of the best area in your home for the connection.
If you have somewhere specific in mind, please let them know.

Feeding the fibre cable into your home
Existing underground ducts can be used or a new route can be created under your garden or driveway.  It'll go through a small hole in the wall which will be tidied up afterwards.Â
 Â
A small box will be cover the new fibre cables entry to your home, this is around the size of an iPad mini and will look slightly different if you are in a stand-alone property (left) or a flat (right).
Â
Â
Fitting the ONT
An ONT (black box) will be fitted on the wall inside your home.
The router will be plugged into it and it'll be your new connection to the internet, this is where you will connect our router.Â
Â
We trust that our partners will carry out all work to a high standard but if you are unhappy with your installation please contact CityFibre at complaints@cityfibre.com to raise a complaint.Â
